How do I book? Whats involved?
The easiest way to book is to check out our website (www.tjproductions.com.au), here you will find all of our packages, whats included, prices (travel fees may apply for long distances), add ons and extras. Once you’ve checked them out head on over to the “contact” page and send us an email, be sure to include your function location, what you require and how long for so we can send you through the most accurate quote.
Once you’ve received the information feel free to discuss it with those you need to and give us a call or send us an email if you have any questions…. If you’ve decided thats what you want and happy to go ahead with the booking let us know then keep an eye on your emails for our Booking Agreement.
You’ve decided you want to book TJ Productions, you’ve told us and now received your booking agreement. Have a read through it, no need to call your lawyer its in simple terms and straight forward so you know what we expect from you and more importantly what you should expect from our business and DJ’s. Included in it is an option to E-sign, its as simple as entering a few details and clicking submit, it then appears in our system ready for the next step. If you’d rather physically sign, theres also an area for that, simply print it out, sign and scan and email us a copy.
This agreement can be found in your portal through out your entire time with us should you ever feel you would like to look at it again.
Once we have the signed copy we can send you through an invoice with our banking details. We require you pay at least a 25% deposit within 2 weeks. If you need to pay less or would like a little more time be sure to contact us and have a chat…were a family run business we know functions, especially weddings, are expensive and happy to help reduce the stress if we can.
Now that your officially booked and have your DJ/MC sorted for your wedding you can relax at least a little. When we’ve received your booking deposit we send you an email with some info and your login details for our online system. This portal is designed just for you!
Here you can find:
1) A count down clock to your event
2) Your account details – how much you’ve paid or is still due,
3) Any meeting information – if one is scheduled
4) A copy of your signed booking agreement
5) Your Package online form/s
6) A Planner checklist (Only for weddings)
7) Timeline/Run sheet
8) Emails – you can email us directly to help keep all your information in one safe location
You have from the time you book through to 2 weeks prior to your function to fill in your forms. They are designed so you can fill in some, save and come back when its next convenient for you – although it does automatically save we do suggest hitting the “save” button just to ensure your changes are saved.
– Our Forms –
Depending on which package you decided on will depend on what your form looks like. Im going to use the Gold package as my example here as this is form has both our DJ and MC information (Our Silver has just DJ, and our Platinum forms is the gold but also includes Ceremony and Cocktail questions). Our Breeze Package form is different again, but is more party based as thats the idea of that package.
All package forms start off with some contact information. This is so its quick and easy to find should your DJ/MC need to contact you urgently close to your wedding. Your DJ will also call you about a week prior to your wedding to ensure you are both ready.
We then move on to your wedding reception information, this includes all the formal parts of your reception. We ask for the specific song/s you want played at those important times (bridal party entry, cake cutting, first dance etc) as well as the genre/mood you wish to have played during meal times. We also ask for your MC duties here (Platinum and Gold Packages), this includes things like bridal party names, order of speeches.
Then we start to look into the “Party” time of your reception. This is the fun dancing part of the reception. We want to know about YOUR style/s of music! We ask for songs that will get you up and dancing, favourite radio stations. We also ask you to choose some genres/decades/types of music you would like played during this time.
And finally we ask you to tick a box stating… Your DJ WILL take requests at your Wedding, however does reserve the right to refuse to play any request that is deemed inappropriate for play based on atmosphere or content. If your having trouble filling in our forms or have questions about them, feel free to contact us or check out our System FAQ.
-Meet and Greet Consultations-
Our meet and greet consultations are complementary with both our Platinum and Gold wedding packages but can be added to our Silver or Breeze should you wish, at additional charge.
These meetings happen between 4-6months prior to your wedding day. We send you an email with your DJ’s availabilities for the next month or so, this allows you to see what works best around your work, family or other commitments.
Those within (or coming to) the Shoalhaven can have the meeting at a local cafe, house/accommodation place, wedding venue or a playground even. The choice is entirely yours, all that we ask is that it be a quiet location to get the most out of your meeting.
Unfortunately due to time restrictions we don’t offer this meeting outside of the Shoalhaven, but this doesn’t mean you miss out if your not able to get here. We offer you the chance to do the meeting via Skype or over the phone – Facetime or normal phone.
For all bookings our DJ’s will give you a quick “catch up call” about a week or so prior to your function to ensure you are both ready. This gives you a chance to ask any last minute questions and everything is running smoothly.
Once we’ve completed your booking, we dont just move on. We like to ensure you were happy with our service, so after all bookings a feedback form is sent out. It asks about all aspects of our business, from the date you booked through to the actual event. These forms help us see where we need to improve or what our customers are finding easy/hard about the way we do thing.
